Honorable Tom Corbett, Governor’s of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has invited all members of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs, Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino and Governor’s Advisory Commission on Women Affairs as well as Governor’s Commission on Africa American Affairs to participate the Governor’s reception at the Governor’s mansion at 2:00PM on Monday, August 6, 2012 .
The participants attended the Governor’s reception included the Governor’s staff ; Mr. Luke Bernstein, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Office of the Governor;  Mr. Harry Forbes, Director of Governor’s Northeast Regional Office Director of Governor’s Regional office to name a few.

The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs participated including Ms. Amy Kiyota, Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs; Mr. Ken Wong, Chairman; Mr. Quang H. Mac; Mr.Nick Shenoy; Dr. Grace Shu; Mrs. Julie Wong; Mr. Drake Nakaishi; Dr. Rad Agrawal; Mr. Deep Gupta; Mr. Timothy Haahs; Attorney Pearl Kim, Esq. ; Mr. Daili Li; Mr. Kishor Mehta; Mrs. Deborah M. Lee and Mr. Hashu Shah.

We recognized the attending of Ms. Maria Montero, Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs and Governor’s Advisory Commission on Women Affairs and all commissioners. We also recognized the attending of Mrs. Karen Stokes, Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs and all commissioners.
The Governor’s reception began when the Honorable Tom Corbett entered the conference room. Mr. Luke Berntein, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Office of the Governor  provided openning remarks. The Governor invited all the Governor’s Advisory commissions to participate at the reception and asked all three Executive Directors: Ms. Amy Kiyota, Ms. Maria Motero and Mrs. Karen Stokes to the podium next to Governor Tom Corbett.

In the remarks, Governor Tom Corbett welcomed all participants and congratulated all three Executive Directors who have been working hard in the commissions.. Governor Corbett stated that he has a trip planned to visit France and Germany and signed a trading with these countries for multi million US dollars. Also, Governor Corbett signed a law to create jobs and benefits to the Pennsylvanian and institutions etc…
After his remarks, all commissioners had an opportunity to take pictures with groups or individually. Afterward, the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs had a private meeting to discuss and exchange the information. The Governor’s reception adjourned at 4:00pm.
